Automation Lettuce

Lettuce automation can be carried out by means of hydroponic gardening system. It helps in growing a plant in a comparatively controlled environment. It will keep your crop safe from pests and several other plant diseases. The automation lettuce can be ensured by growing the lettuce in a green house. All the factors must be monitored and conditions should be controlled in order to acquire the best results. 

Gravel is the medium used for supporting the roots of the plants in hydroponic green house. The nutrient solution is then supplied to the lettuce at regular intervals. When the seeds of lettuce get planted, the entire process is then carried out through automation. There are sensors installed within the gravels which help in determining the need of lettuce. It helps in turning on the pumps which ultimately provide nutrients to the lettuce in the required amount. 

This hydroponically grown lettuce feeds on the appropriate amount of nutrient solution in order to grow healthy. Moreover, special tanks are mostly used in which a hose is clamped at one end of the tank. The other end is attached to a similar tube placed in a small can. The inner surface of the tank is painted in order to prevent it from rust. The lettuce grown by the automation process gives a great deal of profit as compared to the conventionally grown lettuce. On the other hand, it does not require heavy labour and the need of soil is also overcome by the presence of hydroponic system.
