Hydroponic Growing

Hydroponic growing is quite active growing system as compared to the traditional growing system. It requires less space and relieves you from the mess of soil and pests. It provides fast growth and also the container in which the plant is grown occupies a little space. The plants grow quite tall in this system.

Hydroponic growing allows the plant to reach the height of about 4.5 feet which is a perfect height. In this type of growing system, plant grows up to 3 feet in width and 1.5 feet in depth. The hydroponic growing depends on the CO2 accumulation. It plays a vital role in the growth process and affects it by 30-40%. 

The hydroponic growing system is greatly affected by the type of filters installed in the growing containers. Make sure that the container consists of charcoal filters because they will help controlling the plant odour. 

Hydroponic growing not only gives you healthy and fresh vegetables and fruits but also gives you the desired food stuff through out the year. There are several nursing homes that make use of hydroponic growing system for therapy purposes. It is used for the treatment of patients by exposing them to hydroponic gardens.

The hydroponic growing system does not demand an aquarium air pump as it uses candle wick. This is the most reasonable route. However, it becomes a bit harmful for the plants as they get over wet. This is the main drawback of this type of growing system as it results in less survival rate, in the long run.
