Growing System
There are two types of growing systems: indoor growing system and outdoor growing system. Both the system requires proper set-up and maintenance in order to get a good quality crop.
The indoor growing system has provided man with an easier lifestyle than before. It has several advantages. The most important advantage is that it helps in growing vegetables and fruits containing a greater number of nutrients. Although, there is a process to start an indoor growing set-up and also care is a must.
The hydroponic system is an indoor growing system which relieves you from the mess of soil. Moreover, it a nutrient filled reservoir is installed at the base of the container in which the plant grows. This ensures the necessary uptake of water by the plant. In this way, the plants grown contain more nutrients from the deep water culture and are relatively more delicious.
The aeroponic system is another type of indoor growing system. In this system, the roots of the plants are immersed in oxygenated solution containing nutrients as well. Air pumps provide oxygen which is very important for healthy growth of plants. The aerator which is fixed at the bottom of the growing container keeps the roots well oxygenated. These systems are quite easy to be handled and also economical.
On the other hand, the outdoor growing system is also effective. An extra care and attention should be paid to the plants growing in this system. A proper supply of water and fertilisers should be provided in this system.
